The Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley Healthcare Visionary Awards recognize those who make a profound impact in our community in the spirit and mission that have inspired the Sisters of the Humility of Mary since 1911, when St. Elizabeth Hospital opened it’s doors. Three of these awards are presented each year:

The Mahoning Valley Leadership in Health Award - Cynthia A. Kravec, MD

The Heart of the Mission Award - The Sisters of the Humility of Mary

The Continuing the Legacy Award - Mercy Health - St. Joe's at the Mall

Join us in the privilege of sharing the stories of these inspiring awardees who in their everyday lives provide an example of mission to serve the poor and underserved, of their visionary leadership in helping make the Mahoning Valley a healthier place, and of their exceptional stewardship of the resources provided by the Mercy Health Foundation by continuing the legacy of the Sisters. The 1911 Society was created to recognize donors who have made a gift of $1,911 or more and are invited to the reception preceding the awards ceremony.

Your contribution and all event proceeds are used to provide the most advanced care possible to our community. Funds raised ensure that Mercy Health’s high-quality care is accessible and affordable for all. Thank you for your support.

Join us as we celebrate the 100th anniversary of Mercy Health St. Joseph Warren Hospital, founded in 1924 by The Sisters of the Humility of Mary.
